Q: Why should I
use you over a band (or other DJ)?
A: The fact that my name is "on the line" at every event puts
much more at stake for me personally. Some deejays, especially
those who work for agencies, simply don't care about the company's
reputation - so their performance suffers as a result. With my
company, I am the company, and every event is not only special to
me because I care about my clients, but also because each event is like
an advertisement for my services. Over 90% of my business comes
from referrals. You may be reading this website as a result of
someone telling you about me at work, or you may have found out about me
through another vendor or website. I also think my fun (but not
cheesy) personality reflects in my love for entertaining, and it encourages
others to also want to have a great time. What about bands? They
have personality - but they also have a big price tag. Prepare to
spend $4,000 - $8,000 for a quality wedding band for 4 or 5 hours.
That's an average of 5-10 times more than a good DJ. Furthermore, a
band lacks in the ability to "read a crowd" and adjust their
music playlist because they usually can only play 3 maybe 4 styles of
music and usually no more than 200 different songs. With a band,
you are putting more of YOUR spotlight on the them instead of on you!
As your DJ, I will entertain you and your guests, but never forget that
it is YOUR day, not mine.
